Edrin Cloud was the second born of the lower noble family of House Cloud, the last of the owlins seen on the continent in over 50 years after many of them planned and lead the Fallen Feather rebelion against the tyrannical ruler of the land, Mad Queen Darysis. The only member of the family to survive did so by selling out his people as a desperate act to save his wife who was with child. This act foiled the plot that would have surly ended with the kinds head hung from the lowest Skyland. For this act he was spared and raised to nobility, free in a cage, unable to resist any request from the king.
Edrin had been born in shadows and secrets and had lived his entire life in that darkness, all in an attempt to avoid the queen learning of his existence and doing the same thing she had done to Edrin’s older brother Adrin, the child their parents had sold everything to save, now one of her sharpest weapons with no qualms where he’s pointed at.
Soon after his 25th birthday the facade fell and the queen learned of the deceit and of Edrins existence and flew into a rage. The whole family was called before her, dragged in with shackles on and forced to their knees. After much begging from his father and mother, it was decided that to make up for the secret child, Edrin would be sent to Elaria as a Rogue spy to gather samples of raw and powered ulcromite.
All of this happening in a weeks time, Edrin found himself headed towards this forieng lands knowing the implication was that if he failed, his family would be killed. He had 5 years to return successfully. As he entered the continent he headed towards Elarian Spire where he was soon captured and imprisoned in The moss tower where he was imprisoned for 3 years, being experimented on to test the ways Ulcromite could be used, on of the experiments resulting in his arm being replaced with a mechanical arm powered by a small Ulcromite core, meaning removing it would like leaded to his death. After 3 long years of sharpening his skills he’s finally ready to make his escape and is determined to return home with Ulcromite in 2 years before his parents are killed, even if it means ripping his arm off and digging the stone from its metal housing to appease the mad queen and free his family or die in the process.
